Refund Policy

1. Overview

We want every client to have a positive experience with Budget Blueprint. This policy outlines our approach to cancellations and refunds for our consultation services and digital products, such as the DIY Budget Template.

2. Cancellations with full refund

You are entitled to a full refund if you cancel your booked consultation at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made within this window can be submitted via the cancellation link in your booking confirmation email or by contacting us directly at patrick@budgetblueprint.ca.

3. Late cancellations

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled consultation are not eligible for a refund. This policy exists because a late cancellation prevents us from offering that time slot to another client. At our discretion, we may offer a one-time credit toward a future session in cases of genuine emergency.

4. No-shows

Clients who do not attend their scheduled consultation without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund or credit.

5. Rescheduling

We’re happy to help you reschedule your consultation at no additional charge, provided you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling requests can be made through your booking confirmation link or by emailing us directly.

6. Digital products

The DIY Budget Template is a digital product. After your purchase, we will email the spreadsheet file to the address you provide at checkout, typically within 24 hours. Because it is a digital product delivered directly to you, all sales are final once the file has been delivered, and no refunds will be issued after delivery. If you have not received your file within 24 hours, please contact us at patrick@budgetblueprint.ca and we will make it right.

7. Service dissatisfaction

If you are unsatisfied with your consultation, we encourage you to reach out to us directly. While we cannot guarantee refunds after a session has been completed or a product has been delivered, we are committed to addressing your concerns and, where appropriate, offering a partial credit or complimentary follow-up at our discretion.

8. Refund processing

Approved refunds will be returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your financial institution.
